MUCHO BRAVO LITTER(S)

MOTHERLOVE
We cannot think of anything sweeter....

We don't have puppies at this moment!

Before considering a MUCHO BRAVO puppy,
you have to know we do not ship our puppies!
You must be prepared to fly to The Netherlands (Amsterdam-SCHIPHOL)
and pick up your puppy at our home.
Then travel back home with the puppy in the cabin with you, in an underseat carrier.
Only under this condition you can get one of our puppies.
Thank you for your interest!

Here you can see some of the pictures of the pups from our previous litter :

Yesss, we just love it when one of the girls hold on to the "planning" we've made!
Perfectly as expected our Lizzy has come into season in November.
A long time ago we had chosen a beautiful male for her,
a young, buoyant, sweet, gentle, relaxed, beautiful havanabrown/sable gentleman.
It was a tense moment to see if she agreed with our choice,
as she is huge friends with our Dorus and simply adores him,
and we suspected she was under his spell.
For a moment she did seem to think "no way! " when she just met him,
but when she took a minute to see how charming Vasco was,
she didn't have to think twice.
And so it happened that an American beauty who lives in The Netherlands fell in love
with a young Danish explorer who lives in Germany.
Being together on cloud nine they now hope to get beautiful multi-cultural puppies around January 14, 2010
And we hope so too!

December 17, 2009
We are sure....we think.....

Lizzy herself is convinced she is really pregnant
and she totally acts like it!
Five weeks after the first mating today, four more weeks to go.....
Oh, we are looking so much forward to it again!

January 14, 2010

Lizzy says "I have puppies!"
Exactly on the day we figured out she would, Lizzy gave birth to 5 beautiful healthy puppies!
A delivery as it is supposed to go,
fast and very easy she got
four stout sons and one even stouter daughter.
It shows Lizzy loves sturdy:
her sons weight 224, 212, 244 and 252 grams and her daughter 210 grams.
We are very happy with these five beauties
and incredible proud of our Lizzy!

LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

January 30, 2010

SORRY fans,
oké, a little later indeed than you are used to,
we were a bit busy
and so there wasn't time for the website.
But to immediately overrun the mailbox with the question when the next update will be......
Everything still goes great with mom and her 5 kids!
And we are more than pleased and happy with them.
Last Thursday (January 28) they were two weeks old.

Look how sweet, satisfied and relaxed they are!
It's a joy to watch!

2 weeks old exactly.

Lizzy enjoys her litter so much,
it seems she is proud as a peacock and with a big smile
and happy eyes it's like she asks:
"don't you think they are sweet and beautiful?"
All but one have opened their eyes.
They look so different now.

This boy was first born.
He had -as the only one- both his eyes open on January 27.

Mucho Bravo Sjaantje Moriaantje, or just called "Sjaantje"
The only girl, she was born secondly
and she opened her eyes just yesterday.

The third born boy,
he had his eyes open exactly on January 28.

This boy came onto this world as the 4-th born puppy,
yesterday he had very carefully only one eye open,
and this morning...yeah, both eyes were open!

And then this boy who was the last one that was born,
he is by far the fattest and the biggest one of the five,
but obviously also the most lazy one,
and he has decided to keep his eyes still closed for a while!
Although, when you look a little better, his left eye starts to open a tiny little bit,
so probably we can look him into his eyes tomorrow.
In the beginning they hardly see anything,
they have to get used to the light first.
The ears are coming more "in position"
and they will open soon too,
so they also will start hearing then.
That's the best time coming,
as from that moment they'll start to react more and more on their environment.
But for now they mostly only still sleep and drink.

January 31, 2010
Yesssss, here he is,
little boy "5" with his eyes open!
Look!

February 4, 2010
3 weeks old today,
and how much they have grown again!

It looks like Lizzy is getting smaller
and she almost disappears under the strain of her 5 little muscle men.
In the mean time they moved onto a new, spacious and light apartment

the furnishing is kept minimal,
but they do have the most important thing,
and that is... a great bed.

They also got a few new housemates,
with whom they became friends right away.

And of course they have lots of space to stretch their little legs
so they can build some beef.

They really start to react on each other now,

and on us

and they get aware more of their environment.
In short, they become more and more "real" doggies.

Yes, he sure is sweet and beautiful,
but..... that's what all five of them are!!!

They are dewormed for the first time,
their nails are cut,

and from now on we clean their eyes every morning,
so hopefully they will not get these ugly red stains.

Well, they do have to put up with some things,
but when learned young it won't give problems later on!

"5 sweet faces"

February 11, 2010
Our 5 stars are 4 weeks old:

"Sjaantje"

We have started getting them used to taking solid food.
And although Lizzy still produces more than enough milk for them,
they also love to eat the raw food with (amongst other things) stinking tripe in it!

What do you mean with "a very dirty face" from eating dinner??!!

They also love to have a game of romps now and then.

Of course they use each other as a soft and warm pillow.

Or they are just sitting and being pretty.
What ever they do....we enjoy every minute of it!

Februari 19, 2010
Yesterday they were 5 weeks old.
They have lots of space now
and they are going to be "real" dogs
and that's how they start to behave .
Their coat is growing fast,
so we had to cut the hairs under their feet already.
Their teeth are coming in and that's bothering them a lot.
Therefor they want to chew on everything:

Sjaantje Moriaantje is becoming a cute little lady:

The smallest one out of the litter is posing for the camera as a pro:

January 25, 2010:
6 weeks old today!
Time for making new portraits,
although they think quite differently about that.
They much more prefer to run and play.
Finally the snow is disappearing in our yard,
and soon they can run all they want to,
as they can go outside playing then.
They are chipped and have been very brave,
they behaved so well
and didn't even give a peep.
Our topmodels, 6 weeks old exactly:

March 3, 2010:
Visitors, visitors, a very crowded house!
And oh, how much do these little rascals like and enjoy that!!!

If it was up to them, they would get visitors all day, every day.......
they are friends with everybody!

March 6, 2010:
They go playing outside now every day,
and they just love it.
So much space, so much to see, so much to smell, so much to explore,
everything is interesting.
Most of the time they spread through the yard

"grouping themselves"
but when all of a sudden the big dogs of the neighbours start to bark loudly,
they look for each other real fast.

"first visiting Usa and then Willy"

"having a game of romps"

"digging holes already"

"simply beautiful"
We are short of hands and eyes,
as they find all kind of things,
boughs, leaves, blades of grass, small rocks....
and as it always goes with all puppies ,
everything disappears in their small mouthes!
And that's not very healthy.

Finally found something that is allowed to chew on!

They are small with tiny noses,
but there is nothing wrong with those cute noses,
all those interesting smells,
they have to study them all!
They sniff around all the time....

and of course they have to run!

Run, run run, as fast as they can.
Sometimes they run so fast that they almost stumble over their little legs.
But each day their sense of muscular movement is getting stronger,
and they can run even faster.

"rrrrrunniiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!"

March 11, 2010
As it's not good to give puppies their first inocculation too early,
we keep them longer than most breeders do here in The Netherlands.
Now they got their first shot at the age of 8 weeks, as recommended by Dr. Dodds.
Read about some of the facts of vaccinations!

We'll enjoy our five beautiful puppies for two more weeks!
Here they are, 8 weeks old:

Playing outside is the most fun!

Fresh air and lots of space!

Wow, how fast they go!!!!

March 18, 2010:
9 weeks old!
More than words can say.....

Ozzy

Sjaantje

Timo

Japio

Rakker

It's almost time to say goodbye.
We'll miss them,
but they are ready to go and explore the big world.
And their new owners can't wait to come and get their sweetheart!

But first some expert clipping still need to be done here in our garden!

April 6, 2010:
The pups are living with their new owners now,
and we receive lots of positive messages about our five beauties.
The happy owners:

After mature deliberation and under special conditions we've decided
to make another family happy with "our Japio".
They live very close by, so we'll be able to see Japio often.

Japio has many new friends:
a Golden Retriever, 2 cats, a rabbit and.... 2 turtles!

Lizzy and Vasco both have their eyes tested and patella's tested (both have grade 0/0),
and of course their puppies got the official HCN-certificate.
This is the pedigree of their puppies:
